Millington Middle School Dress Code

Millington Middle dress code will be in compliance with the MMSD Board Policy #6.310

The following expectations for student dress have been established to promote a safe and optimum learning environment.

Apparel items or appearances, which tend to draw attention to an individual rather than the learning environment or its surroundings, must be avoided. In matters of opinion, the judgment of the principal or principal’s designee shall prevail.

The school administration reserves the right to determine whether the student’s attire is within the limits of decency, modesty, and safety.  Examples of clothing considered outside the limits of decency, modesty, and safety are leggings, tight fitting clothes, over-sized clothes, and low-cut tops.
